About
My name is Andrew Williams, I’m a Business Intelligence Analyst from Widnes, Cheshire. I currently work for Martin Dawes Systems developing reporting for a product based on IBM iSeries (AS/400) in Crystal Reports and Business Objects.
This website was created for the whole purpose of sharing my experiences with technology, society, and life in general. From time to time you’ll get to see my (usually bias) opinion about subjects.
Online, I’ve used the nickname Nik_Doof since I first started using AOL in 1995. Here is a list of stuff you can find by googling my nickname:
- I edit on TV IV
- I have a collection of “Web 2.0″ accounts, flickr, del.icio.us, twitter, tumblr.

- I developed a MUD based on SMAUG and a was a heavy poster on the SMAUG Mailing List.
